by Ainsley Ingram

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has announced a new partnership with Faulhaber as the new Agency of Record (AOR) for public relations in Canada.

In a press release, Faulhaber said it will work closely with the LA Tourism team to share stories that highlight “LA 2.0” – the vibrant, diverse and new offerings of the City of Angels post-pandemic.

“The selection process for our northern agency partner was incredibly competitive as Canada is one of our key tourist feeder markets,” he explained Chris HeywoodSenior Vice President, Global Communications at the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. “LA is a forward-thinking city and I am absolutely thrilled to have Faulhaber’s innovative approach leading our PR efforts in Canada.”

As part of the mandate, Faulhaber will amplify LA Tourism’s latest advertising campaign, Now Playing, which highlights LA’s attractions, experiences and accommodations and highlights top talent, adding an extra touch of Hollywood magic to the campaign.

“At Faulhaber, we believe stories have limitless opportunities to connect brands with their communities in meaningful ways. “Our creative approach to earned media relations stood out in the RFP process and helped secure this partnership,” he said Lexi Pathak, President and partner at Faulhaber. “LA is a destination that inspires the spirit of possibility, and we look forward to sharing stories that illustrate this to Canadians seeking unparalleled travel experiences in 2024.”
