Coronavirus crisis in Ontario: – Panic: you want the vaccines from Norway

Now the state authorities have tried to take action. Last week they introduced tough new restrictions to stall the alarming trend, but Ontario, like the rest of the world, is dependent on more vaccines.

Not to mention the desperation.

Secretary of State Doug Ford, Ontario’s top elected politician, has now taken the drastic step of asking Norway, among other things, for more vaccines, reports Canadian CTV News.

A statement from Ford said:

“As part of this work, he has already been in contact with the Canadian Ambassador to Denmark and the United States Consulate General, both of whom will bring our request to purchase additional AstraZeneca supplies to their respective governments. . Our authorities have already been in contact with the Norwegian Ambassador and will later contact the EU Ambassador to Canada, as well as the Indian High Commissioner, to request any additional dose of AstraZeneca, ”the statement said.
