Semi final India Open 2022 will take place today. Here is the complete program.

The 2022 Indian Open Semi-Finals will take place at KD Jadhav Indoor Hall on Saturday (15/1/2022) from 2:30 PM WIB. Indonesia leaves a representative in this phase, namely the men’s doubles duo Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan.

The Daddies, as they are commonly known, will compete for fifth place. They will meet Malaysian representatives, Ong Yew Sin / Teo Ee Yi.

According to BWF records, the couple met three times, all in 2019. Hendra/Ahsan managed to win twice, including at the Australian Open (June) and the French Open (October). Meanwhile, Ong/Teo won once at the Thailand Open (July).

After more than two years without seeing each other, Hendra/Ahsan will face Ong/Teo again. Despite their one-on-one wins, the Daddies never underestimate their opponents who are considered to have improved rapidly since their last encounter.

“It was a long time since we last met, in 2019 but now I see their game is cleaner. Hopefully tomorrow (Saturday) we can play well and win,” Ahsan said on Friday (1/14), in a statement. from PBSI.
