The French Institute of Turkmenistan invites junior B1 and B2 students aged 11 to 16 to participate in an online meeting with French-speaking Canadian writer Pierre-Yves Villeneuve, author of the Gamer book series set in the world of video games .
The meeting is jointly organized by the Embassy of Canada in Ankara and the French Institute of Turkmenistan.
The meeting will take place online October 13 at 6.30 p.m., registration by email ift.culture@gmail.com.
Recorders will receive extracts from Gamer 1 and 2.
Pierre-Yves has always been interested in science and technology. He dreamed of stars and wanted to become an astrophysicist until he turned to literature.
He went from bookseller to trade commissioner, from publisher to language editor, from literary director to “literary black man”, practicing practically all trades in the book world.
He currently works for Curium, a scientific journal for young people. He has been writing literary works since 2016.
