FC Zenit St. Petersburg – latest news, training camp, schedule, matches; Fight in a Zenit friendly match, video – Dziuba had to be ruled out – January 22, 2022

Russian football does not let you get bored even in winter holidays. Headlining the evening’s news this time was Zenit Saint Petersburg, who were playing their second friendly match at the Dubai training camp.

Bulgarian “Botev” scored first, but already in the middle of the second half Plovdiv was forced to walk away from defeat due to goals from Artem Dzyuba and Magomed Ozdoev. The last goal of the game was scored late in the game (the Russian team conceded from the penalty spot and settled 2-2), but the most interesting thing in the game happened afterwards.

And it wasn’t really football.

It all started with a difficult trip by Barrios into his own half – the ball was no longer next to him and Emmanuel Tocu.

Toku immediately began to quarrel – he was supported by his partner in Botev, Reda Rabei. And Malcolm come running to intercede for Barrios.

Immediately afterwards, it might seem like the moment was overplayed – Zenit even managed to pull off a return attack, in which they were awarded a corner. But that was only the beginning of the confrontation between the players.

Malcolm tried to calm Samuel Suprian, who became the main instigator, but in vain. The chief referee signaled the end of the match (initially it was planned that the teams would play only 80 minutes, but under other conditions Zenit would certainly have been allowed to take a corner kick).

As a result, the teams began to go against each other wall to wall.

Especially Magomed Ozdoev and Artem Dzyuba, who scored that day, were particularly persistent. They had to be removed.

And the video also captured the cry of one of the Russian footballers: “Who do you want to go out with? Go to, #####!”

The official resumption of the season in Russia is still a long way off – Zenit will face Betis in the Europa League in almost a month. But it seems that Sergei Semak’s players are already properly loaded – it remains only to not lose their combativeness until the real matches.
