Charles Martinet wants to express Mario as long as possible

by Ainsley Ingram

Maybe it was Chris Pratt Play as Super Mario For the vast majority of Nintendo fans around the world, Charles Martinet will always be Mario’s original voice in the upcoming Lighting animated film, due next year.

Although he voiced the mascot of Nintendo To Era N64, her voice first sounded in a 1996 video game. Super Mario 64… Since then, he’s voiced the character in every major episode and has even appeared on all of Mario’s pop-up shows such as the Mario Kart and Mario Party series.

But how long will it last? v Canada Van Martine held a question-and-answer session this weekend about his rise to fame as Mario and asked a fan how long he would voice Mario. While his answer isn’t necessarily surprising, it’s at least encouraging to know that he’ll stick with it for as long as possible. That’s it, courtesy play attachment:

“I want to voice Mario until I drop dead.”

Of course, if he “can’t” take on that iconic role anymore – he’ll be happy to hand it over to someone else:

If one day I thought I couldn’t do it anymore, I would tell Nintendo to look for someone else.

Although Charles Marine will not be voicing Mario in the upcoming cartoon, he is still involved and seems to do excellent voiceovers throughout the film.

Are you happy to hear that Charles wants to stay in the role of Mario for as long as possible? What do you think of the fact that he’s not playing in the next movie? Leave a comment below.
