Apple unveiled the third generation of AirPods wireless headphones, the new MacBook Pro, and two new internal processors, the M1 Pro and the M1 Max. The presentation of the new products was disseminated in Youtube channel Apple.
The new AirPods will have moisture and sweat resistance, increased battery capacity and a new design. In addition, the headphones are equipped with a spatial audio function. The manufacturers claim that the battery will last six hours of continuous music listening. With a suitcase, this figure will increase to 30 hours. The headphones will cost $ 179. Deliveries are expected to start next week.
MacBook Pro laptops will be available in two versions – with 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch screens. Frames on the sides will decrease by 26%, and by 60% – on the top (excluding bangs). The TouchBar has been replaced with a row of physical keys and the laptop is equipped with MagSafe magnetic charging. The HDMI connector is also back, which was removed in the previous model design update.
Apple also unveiled the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors. The M1 Pro is equipped with 33.7 billion transistors and 32 gigabytes of memory at 200 gigabytes per second. M1 Max is more powerful. It received 57 billion transistors, as well as 64 gigabytes of memory at a speed of 400 gigabytes per second. It should be noted that the advantages of the M1 Max will be more visible when working with graphics, including in video games.
