Jakarta (ANTARA) – Education company Zenius presents Zeniusland, a place where parents and children can explore the world of learning together, equipped with educational games and animations that make learning more fun.

ZeniusLand is a learning platform specially designed to develop the fundamental skills and critical thinking of primary school students in Indonesia.

This platform offers educational games to improve cognitive and emotional intelligence in children. In addition, it can also increase children’s spirit of exploration and learning, introducing animated characters which make children’s learning activities more fun.

ZeniusLand, in keeping with Zenius’ vision of cultivating a love of learning in everyone, begins at an early age. Elementary students can master math, Indonesian and English through the fun gamification method.

With ZeniusLand, students can embark on an adventure in the pursuit of knowledge with Tiga Sekawan, which represents children’s character values that should be explored from an early age; Gika for logical skills, Imaji for imagination and Aksa for literacy.

“Thanks to ZeniusLand, we hope to motivate Indonesian students to learn in a fun way. We believe that the fun side of learning activities should be built as early as possible, such as from elementary school age, “Zenius founder and CEO Sabda PS said in a press release as quoted on Saturday.

If students have developed a “love of learning,” they will surely have that motivation to continue to maintain their curiosity and learn new things into adulthood, Sabda said.

The need to foster a passion for learning is very crucial in Indonesia because according to data from the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) from 2000 to 2018, this country still remains in the bottom 10 of all participating countries. to the inquiry.

In the last survey in 2018, Indonesian students ranked 6th for reading scores, 7th for math and 9th for science. Ironically, all three of these core subject scores actually declined from previous research in 2015.

Although PISA research has tested 15-year-olds, in fact, foundational skills are important provisions to be trained as early as possible, especially at elementary school age. The Global Save the Children study from July 2020 also indicated that 8 out of 10 children were not able to access adequate learning materials when implementing distance learning (YPP).

With conditions that are still not possible to achieve a full PTM (Face-to-Face Meeting), and the presence of a fun learning platform for children like ZeniusLand, it is hoped that it will open up wider access. and generate motivation and enthusiasm for learning among Indonesian students.

At this early stage, ZeniusLand will present more than 40 learning videos, more than 200 questions and more than 40 interactive learning materials for students in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school. This platform is already available on Android, and will soon be available on iOS, accessible by subscription, ie IDR 800,000 per year.
