jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Andri Setiawan, owner of CV Men Handsome, an export-oriented MSME of Batik Cap Fabric from Sukaharjo, Central Java, feels helped by the Indonesian Export Finance Agency (LPEI).

Andri felt this help through the Export Special Assignment (PKE) program for export-oriented MSMEs, which had an impact on the sustainability of their business operations.

Because in the midst of a pandemic, his business must continue to operate, not only for the sake of business interests, but also for the sake of the workers who depend on their hopes and well-being.

In addition, currently 95 percent of Andri Setiawan’s fabric products have entered the markets of the United States and Canada for the past three years.

Indeed, in the absence of PO (Purchase Order) from other countries, Andri continues to export to the United States and Canada to meet the needs of distribution companies there with an average delivery of 5 containers per month, valued at $ 160,000.

And in April 2021, those shipments grew to 7 containers worth $ 220,000.

“This PKE support brings us very significant advantages. We can continue to produce and meet buyers’ demands without having to worry about a lack of working capital, ”said Andri.

The benefits of the PKE program for Andri may increase its production capacity in line with the recovery in export demand.

LPEI will continue to channel PKE so that it can encourage national economic recovery, especially for export-oriented MSMEs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
