Jakarta (ANTARA) – The launch of Netflix’s biggest original series “Squid Game” is estimated at nearly $ 900 million for the giant. Diffusion this, according to a Bloomberg News report, cited by Reuters on Monday.

According to a Bloomberg report, around 132 million Netflix users watched at least two minutes of the show in the first 23 days. This figure easily breaks the record set by the British drama “Bridgerton”, which was watched by 82 million accounts in its first 28 days.
Netflix previously reported the show had 111 million fans, but Bloomberg said the numbers were based on slightly older data.
Netflix, based in Los Gatos, Calif., Estimates that 89% of users who start a show watch more than one episode. Up to 66% of viewers finished watching the series within the first 23 days.
Netflix declined to comment on the report. An attorney for the company said it was inappropriate for Bloomberg to disclose confidential data in the documents reviewed.
The series is also the first Korean drama to win No. 1 on Netflix in the United States and has even boosted people’s interest in learning Korean.
In China, where Netflix is not available without a VPN, a Beijing bakery has issued a candy-making challenge (dalgona) on the theme “Squid Game” in his shop.
The show even received positive comments from Amazon Inc founder Jeff Bezos, the billionaire calling the work “impressive and inspiring.”
