The entire Canadian Grand Prix podium was occupied by Russian athletes.

The stars of figure skating from Russia received medals of all merits and occupied the entire podium. Figure skater Kamila Valieva had a very difficult program, for which she received a total of 265.08 points. It is this number that has earned him two world records at a time – for the free skate and for the short and free programs in total.

Elizaveta Tuktamysheva took second place with a score of 232.88 points, and Alena Kostornaya received the “bronze” and 214.54 points.

Earlier it became known that the winner of the first round of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Alexandra Trusova, had skated with a broken leg. It was very difficult for the athlete, but she continued her performance. Honored coach of Russia Inna Goncharenko expressed his surprise on the matter. In his opinion, such an act is akin to a feat, because in this sport the main burden falls on the legs.

For a long time, Alexandra discussed with her coach about the cancellation of the performance, but in the end, the athlete decided to participate. The decision was correct, as Trusova won with a score of 232.37 points.

Also in an interview, the girl shared that she was afraid to fly, so the flight for the competition was a huge stress for her.
