List of star-studded teams for the 2021 Sudirman Cup

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Several countries have sent teams containing star players to the 2021 Sudirman Cup Mixed Team Badminton, which will take place in Vantaa, Finland, from September 26 to October 3.

Reported by the official website of the BWF, China as the most dominant team with 11 titles in the Sudirman Cup will appear with a fairly strong team, including two representatives of the Olympic gold winners, namely the women’s singles Chen Yu Fei and mixed doubles Wang Yi Lyu / Huang Dong Ping.

In the absence of Olympic silver medalist Chen Long in the roster, the responsibility of the Chinese men’s singles will rest on the shoulders of Shi Yu Qi. He will be supported by Lu Guang Zu and Youth Olympic Games champion Li Shi Feng.

In the women’s singles sector, Chen Yu Fei will be reinforced by 21-year-old He Bing Jiao and Wang Zhi Yi.

Kento Momota leads the Japanese team

Japan will not be reinforced by its leading double men such as Takeshi Kamura, Keigo Sonoda and Hiroyuki Endo in the Sudirman Cup 2021. However, the Land of the Rising Sun can count on finalist Kejuaraan Dunia Takuro Hoki / Yugo Kobayashi serta Akira Koga / Taichi Saito.

Indonesia sends experienced players

Denmark full power

Denmark has the best team led by Olympic gold medalist Viktor Axelsen.

Axelsen will be supported by other top players, such as Mia Blichfeldt (women’s singles), Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (men’s doubles), Sara Thygesen and Maiken Fruergaard (women’s doubles) and Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje (mixed doubles) ).

Taiwan tanpa Tai Tzu Ying dan Lee Yang / Wang Chi Lin

Taiwan won’t send their strongest team as they are without world number one Tai Tzu Ying and Olympic gold medalist in men’s doubles Lee Yang / Wang Chi-Lin. World number 11 in men’s singles Wang Tzu Wai will also not participate in this mixed team tournament.

Meanwhile, Malaysia decided not to field the two top-ranked mixed doubles to represent the team at the 2021 Sudirman Cup. However, they chose Hoo Pang Ron / Cheah Yee See and Cen Tang Jie / Peck Yen Wei. .
