TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Indonesian badminton player in men’s singles, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito managed to secure a ticket for the knockout stages of Roland-Garros 2021.
Shesar Hiren Rhustavito secured the ticket to the round of 16 at Roland Garros 2021 after beating Canadian representative Brian Yang on Tuesday (10/26/2021) night WIB.
Shesar Hiren won back-to-back games with a score of 21-17 and 21-16 in 35 minutes.
With these results, Shesar Hiren said he was grateful to be able to meet the challenges in the first round.

Despite his victory, Shesar admitted he was conceded in Game 2.
“But in the first two games, I was carried away by the rhythm of the opponent’s play and tried to turn things around with my own game, in the end I was able to lead the game and finish well”, said he added.
Shesar Hiren quotes a lesson in playing tactics from Brian Yang.
“What I learned from him is the type of game that relies on counterattacks, I have to beware of his attacks,” said Shesar Hiren.
By pocketing a ticket for the round of 16, Shesar Hiren did not set himself grandiose goals.
