All the winners of the 28th FICValdivia

During the gala, the winners of the categories Feature Film Competition, Best Chilean Film, International Youth Feature Film Competition, Latin American Short Film Competition, Latin American Children’s Short Film Competition and Chilean Cinema of the Future have been announced. In addition to the unofficial prizes, the Héctor Ríos prize, for the best Chilean photographic direction, and the Explora el Cine micro-film competition.

The winning film of the Feature Films Competition is the film by Huaiquimilla which addresses the reality and the social and political conflicts of juvenile detention centers in Chile.

Twelve works from Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica were selected for the competition for best Latin American short film.
