jpnn.com, BALI – Indian ladies’ singles, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu continues to advance to the 2021 Indonesia Masters semi-finals after beating Turkey representative Neslihan Yigit.

In a match held at the Bali International Convention Center on Friday (11/19), Sindhu won back-to-back matches 21-13, 21-10 against Yigit in just 35 minutes.

After the match, the third seed from India thanked Yigit who had looked awkward in the match earlier.

The Turkish player appeared quite surprisingly during the Indonesia Masters 2021. The 27-year-old beat several seeds, such as Michelle Li (Canada) in the first round.

“A very good game, a very good long game. Now I want to show my best here. I hope I will be even better in the semi-finals,” said Sindhu.

In the semifinals later, Sindhu will face a tough opponent, namely the tournament’s first seed, Akane Yamaguchi.

The Japanese single placed in the top four at the 2021 Indonesia Masters after coming back against Thailand representative Pornpawee Chochuwong and won with a score of 8-21, 21-12, 21-10.

Ahead of the difficult match, Sindhu admitted that he would prepare his physique even better in order to perform optimally against Akane.
