KOMPAS.com – Indonesian women’s doubles pair, Gresyia Polii / Apriyani Rahayu, have qualified for the second round of the 2021 Yonex Thailand Open.

This certainty was achieved by Greysia / Apriyani after defeating Canada’s representatives, Rachel Honderich / Kristen Tsai.

In the match which took place at the Impact Arena on Wednesday (1/13/2021) WIB morning, Greysia / Apriyani won easily with a score of 21-12, 21-11.

After the match, Apriyani Rahayu admitted that he and Greysia Polii groped the match at the start of the match. It’s because they haven’t played for a long time.

This was done only to provide experience for other couples to beat Greysia Polii or Apriyani Rahayu who are currently Indonesia’s top female doubles.

Meanwhile, during the simulation of the Uber Cup, Greysia Polii decided to step aside because at that time she was sick with the flu.

Even though they haven’t competed together for a long time, Greysia / Apriyani still train intensively together.
