Fox Entertainment Global, the US network’s burgeoning international distribution arm, has signed a distribution deal with Canadian company Neshama.
Production company Neshama Entertainment behind Hallmark’s original series The way home, has started its own internal sales operation Neshama Releasing.
This company will, among other things, oversee the Canadian distribution of content produced by Fox Entertainment.
Fox Entertainment Global, founded in September and led by Fernando Szew, distributes shows like Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis and Jon Hamms Grimsburg and Joel McHales animal control.
Neshama Releasing will be overseen by Brook Peters, SVP, Sales & Business Development, who previously managed distribution for programming produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment and Fox Entertainment Studios The Masked Singer, Animal Control And Next level chef.
It comes as the film’s production has started Dress for success, streaming on Fox streamer Tubi. The film revolves around lawyer Fabienne Clarke, who is painfully reminded that she has lost sight of her original goal: empowering people through fashion. Mishael Morgan plays Fabienne and is directed by Erskine Ford.
Fox-backed MarVista Entertainment has a minority shareholder in Neshama.
