The Ottawa Senators lost to the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game.

The meeting, which took place in Boston at the T-Dee Garden arena, ended 3: 2 in favor of the hosts. The winners were Brad Marchand, Derek Forbort and Patrice Bergeron. Zach Sanford and Nikita Zaitsev scored the guests’ goals.

The loss was the eighth for Ottawa in the last nine regular season games.

In the next meeting, Boston will host the Edmonton Oilers, while Ottawa will face the Los Angeles Kings at home.
