The 2023 Rugby World Cup final is finally here as New Zealand take on South Africa and two of the sport’s powerhouses clash in Paris, France.
The final itself looks set to be one of the greatest games of all time (of which we’ve already seen many in this tournament). The All Blacks, with two wins each in 2011 and 2015, are desperate to re-establish their dominance at the top of the sport and no better way to do that than with a victory in the World Cup final over their biggest rivals.
On the other hand, over 20 members of this South African team were part of the team that won the final in Yokohama four years ago. To reach the 2023 decider they have had to play extremely exciting games, both injury-wise and physically, and could well recapture the spirit of 1995 to claim a record-equalling fourth Rugby World Cup title for Rainbow Nation.
