The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also lowered Canada’s travel recommendation score to Level 2. Despite the changes, the US government shows no signs of easing restrictions for Canadian travelers, who do not have the right to enter the land border of the United States. .
On Monday (9/8), Canada opened its doors for the first time in 16 months to fully vaccinated American tourists. Canada bans all vacation travel by united states of america in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. But on August 9, fully vaccinated Americans were able to enter the country.

The CDC on Monday (9/8) warned U.S. citizens against travel to Israel, France, Thailand, Iceland and several other countries due to the growing number of infections in those countries. The State Department also released its parallel “Level 4: Do not travel” advisory for Iceland and France on Monday and confirmed on Tuesday that it had added Israel to the list. In July, Israel was rated “level 1” by US government agencies before being raised two notches.
