Nobody likes to see annoying rodents in their homes or when they are out and about in the city. That’s why Orkin Canada has released results on where you’re most likely to encounter a rodent across the country!

Orkin has more than 70 years of pest control experience. Their results are based on the number of home or commercial rodent treatments they performed from August 2022 to August 2023.

They also released a Canada-wide ranking and one for Ontario. Our province is home to four of the 10 most run-down cities in the country and 10 of the 25 largest cities.

In Waterloo Region, Cambridge ranks 14th in Ontario’s top 25, while neighboring Guelph comes in at 23rd. Kitchener and Waterloo are not in the top 25.

The top spot goes to Toronto, while three other cities in the Greater Toronto Area, Mississauga, Scarborough and Brampton, also rank in the top five.
