Mayor Abelina López Rodríguez assured that in Acapulco security will be guaranteed for tourists arriving at the port during the season of end of year holidays.
Speaking to the media after directing the arrival of the Montreal-Acapulco flight to this seaside destination after two years of being suspended by the Covid-19 pandemic, the first mayor said more elements of the Navy in the next few days, because what is sought is to guarantee safety in season.

“There is in Acapulco, we guarantee safety, a good Christmas season and a good tourist season are coming after two years of suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic”, he said while celebrating the arrival of Canadian tourists on the Montreal Acapulco flight.
López Rodríguez, indicated that Acapulco will very well reactivate economically and touristically at the end of the year.
He said that everyone, government, society and businessmen, is doing what is right for them to be able to lift the port of Acapulco, after a complicated health situation generated by the Covid-19 pandemic which has started in March 2020.
On the other hand, President Abelina López Rodríguez expressed her opinion on the approval that the Senate of the Republic has given to sanction those who take the tolls with fines, she said it was time to enter all the world.
He indicated that entering the order does not like, but the State must be the guarantor of the rights of third parties.
