The popular football saga will be renamed EA SPORTS FC from 2024.
The Canadian Developer electronic arts announced a renaming of its popular video game known as Fifa, due to the culmination of the historic agreement dating from the 1990s with the institution that governs football federations around the world; now the saga will be called EA SPORTS FC.
It will be from 2024 when EA launches its new brand, which will maintain licenses for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga, Serie A and MLS, among others.
‘We are honored to continue working with EA Sports, as we have for over 20 years.. We are committed to partnering with EA SPORTS FC to deliver an innovative and authentic experience,” said LaLiga President Javier Tebas.
With this change, the company should implement new game modesdifferent areas around women’s football and an increase in its community of players around the world.
