At the headquarters of the Federation of Sorianas Organizations (FOES), the startup of Soria Conéctate Soluciones y Aplicaciones SL-Connect Health presented this morning its first round table, which will be held on Thursday, October 21, in front of local investors, with the participation minimum of 32,500 euros and maximum of 130,000 euros. The project includes an investment of 975,000 euros.
As is known, the company headed by Nuria Sala and Fernando Latorre – COO and Technical Director respectively – recently received the ‘e-Dea Salud Challenge 2021’ award from the Pfizer Foundation and is now starting a process of increasing its capital to strengthen its expansion and national and international growth.
Both explained the purpose of the startup, founded in 2016, accompanied by the general director of the Federation of Business Organizations of Soriana (FOES), María Ángeles Fernández, who appreciated the strengthening that companies like Conéctate represent for the technology sector of the province of Soria.
Fernández also underlined the social vocation of the applications developed by the startup Soria, “which contribute to improving our society, humanizing the health system” which now needs “to obtain capital” to start its activity, while this step represents also an “accompanying formula”. “in the territory of Soria.
The company develops technologies and applications applied to the health sector. It holds patents for universal health identifiers which facilitate the traceability and universal certification of medical data, donations and derived biological products; in addition to chatbots – artificial intelligence computer programs – for the health sector. The start-up is already working in Europe and North America. Indeed, a dozen Canadian companies have already expressed their interest in the firm Soria, as detailed by Sala.
The recognition from the Pfizer Foundation will take the startup team from Soria to Boston this fall, where, in addition to concluding the development of one of the applications it has in its portfolio of e-health solutions, it will open new business opportunities for them in the United States, with the support of Pfizer and the Reina Sofía University Hospital in Córdoba.
Those responsible for Connect Health have been recognized by the Evaluation Commission of the Spanish Confederation of Information Technology, Communication and Electronics Companies (CONETIC) with one of the four places to participate in an action international campaign aimed at promoting the penetration of “Spain brand” technological solutions in the United States.
The fundraising round is organized by OFES and will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 9:30 am at the headquarters of the Federation.

At this point, Latorre has meant that the company will also print a “digital health identity” for Soria, with a service that will offer secure communication on the health data of each patient and also their loved ones.
