Wow cool – A Canadian official recently became the talk of the town on social media. It was John Reyes, who aroused a strong reaction from Internet users on Twitter when he hoped for something else.
It started with his post showing his wife. Reyes, Manitoba’s Minister of Economy and Jobs, released a photo Saturday (8/1) showing his wife outside the home in heavy snowfall. in the photo, the woman tries to shovel the snow that has accumulated in their driveway.
He wanted to compliment his wife, saying she still had so much energy even though she had just finished working 12 hours at the hospital. However, instead of getting praise, he actually garnered profanity.
“Even after a 12-hour overnight shift in the hospital last night, my wife still had the energy to shovel her way through,“, did he declare. Some users were quick to criticize Reyes for living in a warm house and letting his wife sweat with a shovel.
But then Reyes immediately responded to the profanity. “My wife is amazing at home and at work. I’m always grateful to her and for everything she does. I love her very much,” he said. Radio-Canada News.
“I’m happy that he got the global recognition he deserves, and it serves as a reminder to everyone, especially me today,” he said. “That we can never do enough to show our gratitude to health workers.
Reyes’ post apparently also caught the attention of Canadian politician Thomas Lukaszuk. Through his tweet, he said such an attitude is not a reflection of a husband who works as a police officer.
Meanwhile, Cynthia Reyes hasn’t been quiet either. She defended her husband saying, “All I did was shovel.”
