Endometriosis is a serious, chronic condition that causes severe pain, especially during menstruation, and can affect a person’s ability to become pregnant. People with endometriosis symptoms can experience significant delays in diagnosis and access to care because of limited awareness and symptoms often similar to other conditions. Every Canadian should have access to safe and efficient sexual and reproductive health services, regardless of their health status.
