The Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame recently recognized 16 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the sport of drag racing when they were inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 7th Annual Inductee’s Gala on November 4th. More than 230 people attended the event where guests enjoyed a four-course Italian meal, live music and dancing.
Among the new additions were Neale Armstrong (pictured above, left), head of racing operations at Toronto Motorsports Park/Cayuga Dragwa, Guy Desjardins, winner of the track’s John Scotti Classic Cars Stock/Super Stock championship, and pioneering Canadian nitro racer introduced Barry and Todd Paton.
