HELSINKI, November 14 – RIA Novosti. Swedish hockey players dominated the Finns and became the winners of the first stage of the Eurotour season – the Karjala Cup. The match in Helsinki ended with a score of 3: 1 (1: 0, 2: 0, 0: 1) in favor of the Swedes. The winners were scored by Anton Lander (15th minute), Jesper Olofsson (35) and Henrik Temmernes (38). The Finns scored the Heikki Lides puck (43). In the standings, the Swedes took first place (9 points), the Finns – the second (6), the Russians – the third (3), the Czechs – the fourth (0) The next stage of the Eurotour is the Channel One Cup – which will take place in Moscow from December 16 to 19.
