CANADA plans to reopen its borders to foreign tourists on September 7, 2021. The Canadian government has said the border will reopen to international tourism if the national epidemiological situation remains favorable.
For fully vaccinated travelers, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to travel to Canada in September.
Travelers should be fully vaccinated against the virus at least 14 days before entering the country. They should also pay attention to vaccines recognized by Canada. Namely Pfizer – BioNTech, AstraZeneca / Covishield and Johnson & Johnson.

The country will actually begin reopening the borders on August 9 by allowing U.S. citizens and permanent residents, as well as those fully vaccinated (2 doses), to enter the country for non-essential travel.
It has been reported that travelers must use ArriveCAN, either in the web version or in the app, to submit travel information.
This will let them know if they are eligible for entry into Canada and will determine whether or not they should be quarantined in Canada upon arrival. Fully vaccinated travelers do not need to be quarantined on entry.
Canada has reported a drop in Covid-19 cases since vaccination rates increased in the country. As of now, there is a three-night quarantine rule at official government hotels that goes into effect on August 9.
