Collection bins available at select Samsung Experience stores and service centers across Canada
To celebrate Earth Day 2022, Samsung is taking action to preserve and protect the environment with an e-waste reduction campaign at select Canadian Samsung Experience Stores and Service Centers in Canada. Starting today, Canadians can drop off their old electronics at the locations listed below for responsible recycling.
As a global leader in technology innovation, Samsung works diligently to tackle e-waste, having collected over 5 million tons of e-waste since 2009. [i]. To reinforce this impact, Samsung recently pledged to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2025.
These commitments are all part of Samsung’s vision for the future, “Sustainability in Everyday Life,” a concept that inspires us to put sustainability at the center of everything we do.
“At Samsung Canada, sustainability is at the heart of our business and it’s something we focus on and prioritize every day,” said Frank Martino, Vice President, Business Services. “To mark Earth Day, we look forward to doing our part to help solve a known problem in Canada, by enabling Canadians to responsibly dispose of their old electronics and prevent waste from end up in our landfills.
