HELSINKI, November 11. / TASS /. The Russian Ice Hockey Federation has made a mission for the youth team to win gold medals at the 2022 World Championship, Roman Rotenberg, FHR first vice president, told reporters.
The Youth World Championships will be held in the Canadian cities of Edmonton and Red Deer from December 26 to January 5. The Russian team will be led by Oleg Bratash, who is now the interim head coach of the Russian national team at the Karjala Cup. The coaching team also includes Alexander Titov and goalkeeper coach Andrey Komissarov.
“We would like the coaching staff of the same lineup to go to the youth world championship, where our task is to only win gold. And all the work will come down to getting the best results,” Rotenberg said. .
“It is very important for us that we have brought together professionals both in the coaching staff and in the staff, including the medical staff. We have brought together the best specialists to help the guys win, so that coming from the club to the national team, it is an even better level than in the clubs.
