Another famous face has joined the race to buy the Ottawa Senators.

On Friday afternoon, Olympic sprinter Donovan Bailey announced on Twitter that he had teamed up with Snoop Dogg and Neko Sparks to buy the ice hockey team.

“It’s your great Snoop Dogg giving kudos to the First Nations of Canada, that’s right, for joining Neko Sparks in the Ottawa Senators bid,” the rapper said earlier this week while speaking in a Senators jersey standing in a recording studio. “We’re trying to do something, we’re trying to make a difference.”

The board of Senators Sports & Entertainment initiated the process to sell the team last November after owner Eugene Melnyk passed away earlier in the year. Melnyk left the franchise to his daughters Anna and Olivia.

Another deal includes Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd, who has reportedly agreed to become a partner in a deal led by Toronto billionaires Jeffrey and Michael Kimel.

A recent Forbes valuation ranked the Senators 24th out of the 30 NHL teams at $800 million.
