NeuralMind, an artificial intelligence document analysis platform, won the second edition of the Bring Your SaaS challenge, a startup competition promoted by Meta Ventures, the venture capital arm of Meta.
The startup is headquartered in Campinas, has 34 employees and is led by Patrícia Tavares, former director of Unicamp’s Innovation Agency. Customers include Vale, Ambev and Thomson Reuters.
Second place went to Recrut.AI, a startup from Pernambuco that also works with AI, but applied to resume screening. The CEO is Patrick Gouy, who has been working on HR software for almost 20 years.
In third place was SaltRH, a São Paulo-based company that offers software as a service for analyzing HR data.
The three startups can receive up to R $ 1.5 million in investment from Meta Ventures, in addition to the ability to connect with Meta and its clients.
They were selected from 82 participants from 11 Brazilian states and a Spanish international competitor.
The winners were chosen by a jury made up of Meta executives, experts and partners.
The group included names such as Matheus de Abreu, executive director of Randon; Gabriel Kessler, CEO of Dialog; Adriana Kaku, district community leader; Carolina Cavalheiro, Business and Community Development Manager at Instituto Caldeira and Sandro Cortezia, Founder and CEO of Ventiur.
