A special two-month Basic Sniper Training Course (UAR-10) according to NATO standards was completed at the National Guard Combat and Training Center in the Kiev region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.

Out of more than twenty applicants, only the bravest received certificates and certificates of course completion, the press service noted.
The ceremony was attended by Canadian Armed Forces Joint Task Force Ukraine (Operation UNIFIER) Individual Training Group Leader Céline Best, who provided advisory assistance during the course.
She noted the high level of knowledge of the cadets and said that the instructors at the combat training center have met the professional criteria for training snipers.
