BARRIE, ON, December 12, 2022 /CNW/ – Forests Ontario will inspire collective action to create a healthy future for communities, our planet and our own health at their 9e Annual Conference, February 16 and 17, 2023, at the Nottawasaga Inn, at Alliston, Ont.. Headlining the list of expert speakers is a rocket scientist, an adventurer and an advocate for women in tech Nathalie Panekwho has an unparalleled passion for ideas that inspire audiences to embrace the learning process.
“We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker is Nathalie Panek“says Forests Ontario Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth Celanowicz. “Natalie’s experience, determination and proactive approach to challenges and problem solving will be an inspiring way to launch our conference and the important discussions we will have on the human, ecological and climate impacts on our natural environments. .”
As the first female driver of the from the University of Calgary inaugural solar-powered vehicle, Panek ran from Texas at Calgary. As a member of the technical staff in the Robotics and Automation division of MDA, an aerospace company in Brampton, Ont., Panek is working on the next generation of Canadian space robotics and space exploration programs, including the Rosalind Franklin/ExoMars rover. During his many adventures, Panek discovered that learning and growth happen every day: from failure, colleagues or new experiences.
