Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared on Friday’s episode of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World to offer words of inspiration to participants ahead of the main challenge.

Trudeau is touted as the first world leader to attend the competition series founded by RuPaul.

During the episode, the Prime Minister shared his thoughts on Canada’s diversity efforts and noted that there is still much more work to be done to build an alliance in Canada.

After his remarks, the queens were touched by his words.

Competitor Stephanie Prince was in tears and said Trudeau’s work on immigration made it easier for the performer to emigrate to Canada for a better life.

The pre-taped Crave series aired the same day that Trudeau testified before the public inquest investigating his administration’s decision to invoke the Emergency Act to help clear last winter’s “Freedom Convoy” protest blockades to help.

Guest judges for the episode included Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka and activist Sarain Fox, who joined permanent judge Traci Melchor.

Host Brooke Lynn Hytes thanked Trudeau for supporting the LGBTQ community and attending the Pride March.

“Can we go beyond ‘tolerating’ and start embracing and loving and accepting and learning from that and being challenged? This is how you build a resilient society,” Trudeau replied. “We’re trying to do that in Canada and we still have a lot to do.”

Trudeau’s performance was brief and suited the spin-off’s pulsing energy, which pits international drag queens against each other in challenges and lip-synch matches until a winner is crowned.

“I hate to see you go, I love to see you go baby,” Icesis Couture exclaimed as the group watched as Trudeau made his exit — or flew away.
