Mayor John Tory also expressed his support for the mosque, adding that he hoped the suspects would be arrested and brought to justice.
“I am furious about the latest vandalism at the Baitul Jannah Islamic Center on Kingston Road in Scarborough. This kind of Islamophobic behavior has no place in Toronto. Please help the police bring those responsible to justice, ”he tweeted.
