Liputan6.com, Glasgow – Important members of the British Royal Family were also present at the COP26 reception in Glasgow. Prince Charles, Camilla and Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed an international audience.
During the reception of COP26, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was also present. He seemed to chirp and chat intimately with Kate Middleton.
Prime Minister Trudeau recently announced that he would limit emissions from oil and gas stations so as not to harm the environment.
Kate, who wore a navy blue dress designed by Eponine, also spoke with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Meanwhile, Prince William was seen chatting with US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Prince Charles’ wife Camilla (Duchess of Cornwall) joined in and chatted with Merkel and UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
Queen Elizabeth II was not present at the event, but conveyed her greetings via a video which was viewed alongside the public. The Queen urged leaders that now is the time to put politics aside and take action on climate change for the sake of future generations.
