The platform will be fully online, allowing students to receive “transparent and realistic” guidance on immigration and protection “from bad actors.”
Trusted immigration lawyers are also listed on the platform.

Elements of the new platform include key immigration and visa deadlines, visa document management and ongoing tracking to “ensure compliance” and keep students up to date with the rules.
Meanwhile, the immigration lawyers are available for individual discussions and group workshops on legal questions, and a chat support function is also available.
Centennial recently opened its doors to students who suddenly had their admission to a Northern College partner institution, Pures College of Technology, revoked after discovering the college was overloaded and issuing “too many visas.”

Borderpass, which won the 2023 PIEoneer Award for Digital Innovation of the Year in Technology, is working on immigration solutions for international students in Canada.
