Ingram was named the first NHL Star of the Week

Arizona Coyotes goaltender Connor Ingram of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was named the National Hockey League’s inaugural Star of the Week for the week of November 27-December 3. Ingram won all three of his games last week with a goals-against average of 1.63 and a save percentage of .947.

Ingram started the week with the Arizona Coyotes’ 3-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 28th. He made 30 saves on 31 shots. Ingram then made 28 saves on 31 shots in the Coyotes’ 4-3 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche on November 30th and 31 saves on 32 shots in the Coyotes’ 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on November 2nd. December.

This season, Ingram has a record of 10 wins and three losses with a 2.40 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage. It’s also safe to say that Ingram has taken over the Coyotes’ number one goaltending job. Karel Vejmelka had big problems. The Czech native has a record of two wins, six regulation losses and two overtime losses with a 3.45 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage.

The Coyotes are also currently playing high-class ice hockey. They have a record of 12 wins, nine regular season losses and two overtime losses, for 26 points.
