India and Canada News LIVE: India-Canada relations hit their lowest point after Trudeau said on Monday that there were “credible allegations” of India’s involvement in the Nijjar killing – a claim India has flatly denied.
Since then, both countries have expelled some top diplomats.

1. In an interview with CTV News, David Cohen said: “There was shared intelligence between the Five Eyes partners that contributed to Canada making the Prime Minister’s statements.”
“He (Cohen) made the comment while denying a Washington Post report that claimed Ottawa had asked its closest allies, including the US, to publicly condemn the killing weeks before Trudeau’s groundbreaking statement, and that overture was overturned rejected,” CTV said.
“Quite frankly, I want to say – and you know me well enough – that I’m not in the habit of commenting on private diplomatic conversations… Look, I want to say that this was shared intelligence… There was a lot of that “I have no communication between Canada and the United States on this issue and I think that’s all I’m comfortable with,” Cohen was quoted as saying.
