In photos: Canada Day 2023 celebrations are simmering in Saskatoon

On Saturday, Canada Day events took place at River Landing in Saskatoon under sunny skies and oppressive temperatures. Activities included Indigenous education, live music and presentations, a citizenship ceremony, an arts village, children’s entertainment, face painting and games before fireworks scheduled for later in the evening. StarPhoenix journalist Julia Peterson joined the reveling crowd.
