HGreg has won the Canadian Business Excellence Award for private companies for the second year in a row. A press release stated that only a limited number of Canadian companies receive the award.
Those that do so must first meet Excellence Canada’s requirements while demonstrating a strategic approach to satisfying their customers. This approach must also lead companies to engage their employees and foster a culture of innovation in the workplace.
“This recognition is clear evidence of the success of our customer-focused, innovation-based strategy,” said John Hairabedian, president of HGreg, in a statement. “We are proud to be one of only a handful of companies nationwide to receive this award.”
Allan Ebedes, president of Excellence Canada, said 26 Canadian organizations were recognized for their achievements this year.
“It has taken tremendous hard work and dedication from all members of these organizations to meet the requirements of this award, and we look forward to celebrating this achievement with them at our Ruby Jubilee in October, marking our 40th anniversary of recognizing Canadian excellence,” he said in a statement.
The event will take place on October 28 at the Delta Hotel in Toronto and will recognize past and current winners while celebrating Excellence Canada’s 40th anniversary.
