An investigation by Mexicans against corruption and impunity (MCCI) He specifies that it was Gustavo Adolfo Sánchez Ramírez, a subordinate of León Trauwitz, who signed the contract with the Italian transnational Hacking Team (supplier of the malware) to conclude the purchase of the system called Da Vinci.

According to MCCI research, the Da Vinci system has the same characteristics as Pegasus and “is known for its efficiency in stealing information, data, images, audio files and files from cell phones, as well as from computers “.

Prior to working for Pemex, León Trauwitz was the chief bodyguard for Enrique Peña Nieto when he was Governor of the State of Mexico.
