Filipino-Canadian singer Tyson Venegas left American Idol judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan in awe when he sang Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” alongside platinum ticket holder Kaylin Hedges.

Venegas and Hedges have teamed up for the Hollywood Week Singing Competition Duets, as seen in an episode of the show that aired Tuesday, April 4 (April 3 in the US).

A few lines into the song, Perry can be seen pointing to her thighs and showing how she had goosebumps while Venegas and Hedges performed. The “The One that Got Away” singer even took to her Instagram page to share the snaps of Bryan, saying, “I diagnosed myself on Web-MD. It’s just good to sing.”

Richie and Bryan are seen giving a standing ovation to Venegas and Hedges after their performance.

17-year-old Venegas, who was a 2020 contestant on ABS-CBN’s “The Voice Teens” season 2, won the first-ever platinum ticket for that season’s “American Idol” last February. He secured the ticket with his soulful rendition of Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” while playing the piano. /Ra
