Brazilian Cristiane Justino, known as ‘Cris Cyborg’, defended the Bellator featherweight title for the third time, this Saturday the 13th, during the Bellator 271 event, which was held in Hollywood, in the United States. The fighter left no chance for her opponent, Sinead Kavanagh, who was knocked out after just 92 seconds of fighting.
In combat, the Brazilian has remained dominant against the Irish from the start. After a few seconds in the clinch, where the opponent tried to stop the fight, Cris managed to break free and began to stand up straight. The Paraná fighter went on a string of punches that was enough to wipe out Kavanagh in less than two minutes.

At the end of the fight, still in the Cage, Cris Cyborg was asked who she would like to be her next opponent within the organization. In response, the Brazilian pointed out American Cat Zingano, a former UFC fighter, who signed with Bellator early last year.
Asked about the possibility of facing the American Kayla Harrison, multi-judo champion, Olympic gold medalist in London-2012 and Rio-2016, as well as PFL champion, Cyborg accepted the challenge, but felt that there had to be an agreement between the organizations for the fight to take place.
Considered one of the most feared fighters in women’s MMA, Cris Cyborg was the champion of all the major organizations she came through in her career: Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC and now Bellator. In the UFC, she held the dominant featherweight title, until she was beaten by Amanda Nunes of Bahia in 2018.
In January 2020, the Paraná native made his Bellator debut in a belt-worthy fight against Canada’s Julia Budd, where Cyborg was knocked out in the fourth round. Later, it was also passed by the Canadian Arlene Blencowe and the American Leslie Smith.
At 38, Cristiane has 28 fights in her career, having won 25 times and lost twice, in addition to an unsuccessful fight, after being caught in doping control in 2011.
