On December 3, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov held a working meeting with the Chief of Defense Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Wayne Eyre, who is on an official visit to Ukraine as part of the development of cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
This was reported by Censor.NET in Press service Department of Defense.
It should be noted that during the meeting, Aleksey Reznikov also had a telephone conversation with the Minister of National Defense of Canada, Anita Anand.
The parties discussed a wide range of priority issues in bilateral defense cooperation in the context of the changing security environment.
Canadian partners reaffirmed the invariable political stance on comprehensive support for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
