On the night of July 30, the crews of a Canadian military aircraft and a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines commercial flight observed an unidentified flying object (UFO) over the Gulf of São Lourenço region. According to a report published Wednesday (11) in CADORS, a Canadian government theft incident file, both described a bright green object, which “flew to a cloud and then disappeared” between Quebec and the province of Earth- Newfoundland and Labrador. According to the CADORS registration, the object did not affect operations.
The KLM commercial flight took off from Boston and was headed for Amsterdam. The military plane was en route to Cologne, Germany, on a mission to rescue people from Afghanistan. According to data released by aviation and marine transportation researcher Steffan Watkins, the Canadian military flight may have changed course and altitude by the time it saw the object, which appears to have occurred on July 31. The KLM plane, on the other hand, appears to have maintained its heading and altitude.

KLM did not respond to a request for comment on the report published in CADORS, and a spokesperson for the Canadian military said the country’s air force “has neither the intention nor the need to investigate the matter further. According to the representative, something was indeed seen – otherwise there would be no report – but there was no indication that the object of this incident posed a risk to the safety of the aircraft. So far, the report doesn’t have many details on the case.
