Canadian shows house damaged after tornado: “The roof is gone” – Casa Vogue

A resident of Barrie, Ontario, Canada was amazed at the damage to her home from a tornado. She took out her cell phone and filmed what she found. “Oh my God, a tornado just hit my house. The roof is gone,” he says in the video, showing the sky above the stairs and the mess that was left in the living room.

According to Canadian television station CTV, Canada’s Department of Environment and Climate Change reported that tornado EF-2 damaged more than ten homes within a 5 km radius on Thursday afternoon, injuring at least eight people. in the city, which is about 80 km. north of Toronto.

The second story of two houses was destroyed and two vehicles were overturned, the agency said. The tornado reached a top speed of 210 km / h and may have caused more damage as it left Barrie for Lake Simcoe.
