Canadian rock band Billy Talent is stopping by Victoria this fall, bringing with them British Columbia-based punk group Gob.
The Juno Prize-winning Billy Talent announced Monday that four Canadian stops have been added to their tour, including Victoria’s Save on Foods Memorial Center on October 11. This came after a performance in Kingston on September 21st, with shows in Penticton on October 13th and Prince George on October 15th.
The band is currently overseas to perform in Paris, France this Wednesday, followed by stops in Italy and Slovenia, among others.
The tour is set to support her sixth studio album in 2022 crisis of faith“, nominated for Rock Album of the Year at this year’s Juno Awards, peaked at number eight on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart and contains three singles that reached number one on the Canadian Rock Music chart.
Billy Talent formed in 1993 and fans have not noticed any lineup changes over the years. They last performed at Rock The Shores in British Columbia’s capital city in 2014 and had success, with some albums achieving quadruple platinum sales.
Meanwhile, Gob formed in Langley in 1993 and have since released six studio albums, most recently in 2014 The world according to Gob.
